EssayCoach LLC doing business as EssayMaster.com ("EssayMaster," "we," "us," or "our") is providing this Privacy Policy to set out our policies and procedures for collecting, using, and disclosing your information. Users can access the EssayMaster service (the ”Service”) through our websites www.essaymaster.com, mobile website, and mobile application (collectively, the ”Websites”).

By using our Services or interacting with us offline you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the accompanying Terms of Service and consent to the collection, use and disclosure practices, and other activities as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree and consent, discontinue use of the Services. Capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meaning ascribed to them in the Terms of Service.

1.    The information we collect and store provided by you

We collect information about you when you use the Services, including information you provide when you register an account, update your profile, access our content, or make a purchase. We may collect and store the following information when rendering the Services:

a. Registration Information

When you register an account, you will be required to provide us with information about yourself, such as your name, e-mail address, zip code, password and other unique identifiers. If you contact us, you will need to provide your name and e-mail address..

b. Files and other Content.

We collect and store the files you upload, download, or access in connection with your use of the Services. We collect information regarding your content, including content within any messages you send to use (such as feedback and questions to editors or other communications relating to the Services).

c. Log data.

When you use the Services, we automatically record information from your Device, its software, and your activity using the Services. This may include the Device’s Internet Protocol (”IP”) address, browser type, the web page visited before you came to our Website, information you search for on our Website, locale preferences, identification numbers associated with your devices, your mobile carrier, date and time stamps associated with transactions, system configuration information, metadata concerning your uploaded files and documents, and other interactions with the Service.

d. Billing Information and Transaction Information.

If you purchase a Service through our Website, you will be required to provide certain information to our payment processing service provider(s) pursuant to the terms and conditions of their privacy policies and terms of use. Such information may include a debit card number, credit card number, expiration date, billing address, activation codes, and similar information. You authorize our payment processing service providers to collect, process, and store this information. We do not store or process this information.

2.  Information Collected Automatically

In addition, we automatically collect information when you visit the Website or use the Services. The categories of information we automatically collect and have collected in the last 12 months include:

a. Service Use Data.

Service Use Data. This includes data about features you use, pages you visit, emails and advertisements you view, products and services you view and purchase, the time of day you browse, and your referring and exiting pages.

b. Device Data.

Device Data. We collect data about the type of device or browser you use, your device’s operating software, your internet service provider, your device’s regional and language settings, and device identifiers such as IP address and Ad Id.

c. Cookies.

We use automatic data collection technology when you visit the Website to collect information that identifies your computer. This comprises information about your operating system, your IP addresses, browser type and language, referring pages and URLs, keywords, date and time, and what sections of our Website you visit (the “usage information”). We use analytics services that use cookies, JavaScript and similar technologies to help us analyze how users use the Service. The information generated by these services about your use of the Service (including your IP address or a truncated version of your IP address) is transmitted to and stored by analytics service providers on their servers. Those service providers will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your, and other users’, use of the Service, compiling reports for us on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and Internet usage. 

We may collect information about your computer, including your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and in order to create reports. This is statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns and does not identify any individual. We use cookies on our site for Google Analytics. Google Analytics is a web analytics tool that helps website owners understand how visitors engage with their website. Google Analytics customers can view a variety of reports about how visitors interact with their website so that they can improve it. Like many services, Google Analytics uses first-party cookies to track visitor interactions as in our case, where they are used to collect information about how visitors use our site. We then use the information to compile reports and to help us improve our site. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer’s hard drive. These cookies are used to store information, such as the time that the current visit occurred, whether the visitor has been to the site before and what site referred the visitor to the web page. Google Analytics collects information anonymously. f. Geolocation Information.

When you access the Website or use the Services, EssayMaster may access, collect, monitor and/or remotely store “location data,” which may include GPS coordinates (including but not limited to latitude and/or longitude), IP addresses, and/or similar information regarding the actual location of your device. Location data may convey to us information about how you browse or use the Services. Location data does not collect or share any personal data about you. Location data may be used in conjunction with personal data. Some features of the Services, particularly any location-based services, may not function properly if use or availability of location data is impaired or disabled.

g. Purpose of Collection and Use

We use the information we collect from you under this Privacy Policy for business and commercial purposes in accordance with the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Our business purposes for collecting and using this information, including in the last 12 months, includes to:

      1. Provide our Website and related support;

      2. Process any Services ordered by you;

      3. Perform services requested by you, such as respond to general inquiries, comments, questions, requests, and provide customer service;

Service providers assist us with services such as billing and payment, data storage, and hosting services. We contractually prohibit our service providers from retaining, using, or disclosing information about you for any purpose other than performing the services for us and require they provide at least the same level of privacy protection as set forth in this Privacy Policy and implemented by us. We may permit our service providers to use information that does not identify you (including information that has been aggregated or de-identified) for any purpose except as prohibited by applicable law.

i. Business Transfers.

We share information in the event of, or during negotiations of, any proposed or actual merger, reorganization, dissolution or similar corporate event, the sale of all or any portion of our assets, or transfer of all or a portion of our business to another business. All such transfers shall be subject to our commitments with respect to the privacy and confidentiality of such information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.

j. Compliance with laws and law enforcement requests; protection of EssayMaster’s rights.

We may disclose to parties outside EssayMaster files stored in your EssayMaster account and information about you that we collect when we have a good faith belief that disclosure is reasonably necessary to (a) comply with a law, regulation or compulsory legal request; (b) protect the safety of any person from death or serious bodily injury; (c) prevent fraud or abuse of EssayMaster or its users; or (d) to protect EssayMaster’s property rights. If we provide your EssayMaster documents to a law enforcement agency as set forth above, we will remove EssayMaster's encryption (if any has been added) from the documents before providing them to law enforcement. However, EssayMaster will not be able to decrypt any files that you encrypted prior to storing them on EssayMaster.

k. Non-private or non-personal information.

You hereby acknowledge that we may in our discretion disclose your non-private, aggregated, or otherwise non-personal information, such as usage statistics of our Service.

3. Changing or deleting your information

a. Account Information.

If you are a registered user, you may review, update, correct or delete the personal information provided in your registration or account profile by changing your ”account settings.” If your personally identifiable information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may update or delete it by making the change on your account settings. In some cases we may retain copies of your Personal Information if required by law. For questions about your Personal Information on our Service, please contact support@essaymaster.com. We expect to respond to all inquiries within 30 days of receipt.

b. Track Technology Choices.

Cookies & Pixels. Most browsers accept cookies by default. You can instruct your browser, by changing its settings, to decline or delete cookies. If you use multiple browsers on your device, you will need to instruct each browser separately. Your ability to limit cookies is subject to your browser settings and limitations.

Do Not Track. Your browser settings may allow you to automatically transmit a “Do Not Track” signal to online services you visit. Note, however, there is no industry consensus as to what site and app operators should do with regard to these signals. Accordingly, unless and until the law is interpreted to require us to do so, we do not monitor, recognize or honor any opt-out or do not track mechanisms including general web browner, “Do Not Track” settings and/or signals. c. Analytics.

The companies we work with to provide you with targeted ads are required by us to give you the choice to opt out of receiving targeted ads. Most of these companies are participants of the Digital Advertising Alliance (“DAA”) and/or the Network Advertising Initiative (“NAI”). 4. Data Retention

We will retain your Personal Information for as long as your account is active or as needed to render the Services. If you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your Personal Information to render the Services, you may delete your account by emailing us at support@EssayMaster.com. We may retain and use your Personal Information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Consistent with these requirements, we will try to delete your Personal Information quickly upon request. Please note, however, that there might be latency in deleting your Personal Information from our servers and backed-up versions might exist after deletion. In addition, we do not delete from our servers files that you have in common with other users.

Our Website includes links to other web sites whose privacy practices may differ from those of EssayMaster. If you submit Personal Information to any of those sites, your information is governed by their privacy statements. We encourage you to carefully read the privacy statement of any Web site you visit.

5. Security

We implement reasonable and appropriate administrative, physical, and technical security safeguards to help protect your information from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction, taking into account the risks involved in processing and the nature of such information, and comply with applicable laws and regulations. Nevertheless, transmission via the internet is not completely secure and we cannot guarantee the security of information about you.

6. Children

Our Services are not directed to persons under 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with Personal Information without their consent, he or she should contact us at support@EssayMaster.com. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with Personal Information, we will take steps to delete such information from our files. We do not knowingly "sell" as that term is defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act, the personal information of minors under 16 years old who are California residents.

7. Notice to California Residents

Under California's "Shine the Light" law, California residents who provide personal information in obtaining services for personal, family or household use are entitled to request and obtain from us once per calendar year information about the customer information that we shared, if any, with other businesses for their own direct marketing uses. If applicable, this information would include the categories of customer information and the names and addresses of those businesses with which we shared customer information for the calendar year previous to such request (e.g. requests made in 2021 will receive information regarding 2020 sharing activities).

To obtain this information from us, please send an email message to support@essayMaster.com with "Request for California Privacy Information" in the subject line and in the body of your message. We will then email you the requested information. Not all information sharing is covered by the "Shine the Light" requirements and only information on covered sharing will be included in our response.

8. Notice to Nevada Residents

Nevada law (NRS 603A.340) requires each business to establish a designated request address where Nevada consumers may submit requests directing the business not to sell certain kinds of personal information that the business has collected or will collect about the consumer. A sale under Nevada law is the exchange of personal information for monetary consideration by the business to a third party for the third party to license or sell the personal information to other third parties. 9. International Users

Our servers are located in the US and the information we collect is governed by US law. If you are accessing the Services from outside of the US, please be aware that any information collected through the Services, including personal information, will be transferred, processed, stored, and used in the US and other jurisdictions. Data protection laws in the US and other jurisdictions may be different from those of your country of residence. Your use of the Services, decision to provide such data to us, or to allow us to collect such data through our Website, constitutes your consent to the transfer to and from, processing, usage, sharing, and storage of information about you in the US and other jurisdictions as set out in this Privacy Policy.
